I had been buy this place many times, but never with much of a meal opportunity. But yesterday I was waiting in the area of the place during lunch and stopped in. I was unfamiliar with the tree fort theme, so at first I did not know what I was looking at in the seating area, When I saw the info about 'tree fort' it made sense. Mostly they have hamburgers, albeit with odd add-ins like Mac-n-cheese; and ice cream. The pricing was a bit high. $4.99 for least expensive hamburger. I had that, no fries no drink, to go. With whole wheat bun. The counter clerk was helpful. After about 3 mins I got my sandwich. It was better than a culver's and about size of their double. The whole wheat bun was very good. Most places use very cheap buns. The meat was cooked fine for my taste. I would go again if only to try something else. But to be honest I do not live near it and would not make special effort to go. Their ice cream items seemed about 10-20 percent higher than culver's. Oh ya, relevant: I don't have any little kids.

Me and my family came here for a late lunch for our first time ever and LOVED IT! Our Georgie burgers were great! And also got fries and mozzarella sticks- both were great too. The atmosphere was so fun for us and our family we had a 1, 4 and 8 year old with us!! Everyone enjoyed their meals and loved the very kid friendly atmosphere! The kids thought it was great they got to write their names on the wall and ate in a "treehouse" upstairs. We will definitely return when in the area again!

Unique place and a hardworking family offering a much better alternative to eating fast food chains. Support local business!!!

I went to Georgie Porgie's last week for lunch and I expected a place along the lines of McDonalds.... I was wrong. What a pleasant surprise. When you first walk into the restaurant, you're immediately impressed and overwhelmed. There is a giant "treehouse" in the middle of the restaurant and a menu that has more options that I expected by a factor of 4. The interior is so playful and fun, it was a great break from the office, but also perfect for kids. When we ordered food, I opted for the double cheeseburger and fries. This burger was great! Way better than the "blah" food that I get in my cafeteria and FAR SUPERIOR than any other fast food in the area. On my next trip, I plan on trying the shakes. I hope to make this a weekly adventure of fun and deliciousness.

Typical Burger and Custard stand with a twist geared towards the kids. Menu is what you would expect of a burger place. I had the special of the day which was a hamburger stuffed with mushrooms. The hamburger was cooked medium and came on a wheat bun; you have a choice of white or wheat. The menu says that they use choice chuck/sirloin but the grease in the button of my basket said otherwise. That is the only downside to this visit. My wife had a Chipotle chicken sandwich which she let me try a piece. Now, I'm going to have to go back sometime and order myself one. Service was swift and the place is clean. The one thing I would like to see added is flame broiled burgers!

The treehouse would probably get me to eat here repeatedly if there were a kids playroom up there. As it stands it's only mildly amusing to them. The chili cheese fries were only okay. The cheese fries were above average. The porgie burger is just okay. I would recommend the owners taste the sauce at in-n-out and attempt to copy the flavor. The kids choice of desert or toy was very cool. Overall, this place could be 5 stars with a few minor tweaks.

Way better than I expected. I had the Italian beef sandwich, which was on special, and it was very good and the fries were as good as I can imagine. Plus, the setting is unbelievable. I know it will lose points with some people for being overly geared towards children, but it's really well done and there were no kids there for lunch the day I went.

Had the beer cheese burger. It was juicy and delicious. They have lots of different types that I still need to try. Place looks like a big tree house which is cool. Fast service and good burgers.

Super cute and fun for kids of all ages. The burgers are great, I tried the Featured Burger of the Month with the Mac and Cheese on it...AMAZING! We shared a Chocolate Pretzel Sundae...OMG...SO GOOD! Service was fast and friendly and the place was nice and clean. Love all the fun touches to the restaurant from the tree theme to the carvings in the seats even the fact that they have 2 flavors of their own brand of soda!! Can't wait to come back with some kids, they will love it!

Have driven by here tons of times and thought we'd try it tonight. It's unique for a fast food burger place. The food was tasty. The fries were okay. The decor is unusual. And the workers are very friendly! The custard and sundaes are to die for! We'll be back! It was very good!

GEORGOE PORGIE'S IS JUST FUN. It's a family owned, local operation with two locations built around a treefort concept. This Racine version is located in a suburban strip mall. There's a large oak tree replica that branches out in the restaurant. There are stairs that take diners up to the "treefort" where there's more seating. Patrons have scribbled their names all over the treefort. The tables have plexiglass tops with dioramas much like Ella's in Madison. ORDERED: Porgie Burger (Homemade Porgie sauce, American cheese, shredded lettuce, pickles and onions) $4.99 with Fries, Handrolled Mozza Sticks (Wonton wrapped mozzarella sticks) TASTED: The burger was like a cross between Culver's and Burgerville (Pacific Northwest) or A&W. The fries were above average. The handrolled mozzarella sticks were a unique Asian fusion take on the breaded cheese stick. I appreciate the vision and creativity that went into the Georgie Porgie's concept.

All kinds of burgers in this "fast casual" food place. Interesting decor, bigger than it looks from the outside. Only one person at the register made the ordering line go slow ... not too slow, but slow. I am picky about my burgers ... what's on them. The menu had all sorts of possibilities ... none of which attracted my taste buds. No problem. Burgers will be made any way you want them with the toppings of your choice. We got ours and they were really good. The wait for the burger wasn't too long, which is a good thing because the area around the pick up window is a bit cramped. It is very likely that we will return.

I find myself returning to Georgie Porgies in Racine because of the great custard. Also love the unique treehouse atmosphere and always friendly counter staff. Have also taken home quarts of custard. The interesting theme tables up and downstairs are good for kids AND adults who are lucky enough to be kids at heart! the first time I went here was with my husband. we ate up in the tree and played a game of checkers.

What a fun lil place! The food was awesome! I had the beer cheese pretzel burger it wasn't a lil smear it it was a huge glop of the beer cheese. I'm debating if I wanna take one home for later. It's a treehouse theme. You can write on the walls if you wanted to but we didn't. This was a find through urbanspoon. I'm glad I check that app or I never would have stopped here!

Not quite a fast food restaurant...but the wait is worth it. The hamburgers and other sandwiches and sides are freshly made. But apparently their custard is the thing that draws people in. I didn't have any myself, but I hear it is pretty good. The decor is supposed to be interesting for kids, but I just thought it was okay...almost too overwhelming to be honest. I wasn't able to figure out why this location has a Washington Avenue address because it really faces Green Bay Road; probably because it's physically located in the parking lot near Kohl's. Parking is somewhat limited due to the layout of the strip mall it's in and the way the entire shopping center associated parking lot is designed.

Good Restaurant with normal fast food products. The Food is the same as any place else like Burger King, or McDonald, but this place has more decorations than the previously mentioned restaurants. The food is on average a dollar more expensive than comparable items at fast food restaurants I mentioned before, but overall I would recommend this to a friend.

I'm going to go ahead and give this place everything it deserves. 5 stars. They do burgers right. They do fries right. The food is fresh and cooked properly. The staff is well trained and friendly. It's one of the 10 best burgers I've ever had and its brought me back 3 times in the last 2 months. They take pride in the food and it shows! The restaurant atmosphere is entertaining and family friendly. Kids love this place. Well done!
